Megan and Matt's wedding was close to our hearts.  Megan is a cousin of the Cakewalk team, so we were thrilled when she asked us to photograph her wedding.  Meg and Matt started dating ten years ago (during a grade nine ski trip!) and so their families have been joined for a long time.  Meg and Matt's ceremony was held in a cozy, cute prairie church, and then we headed to Edmonton for a whirlwind Old Strathcona photo session.  The day ended with all families making fun of themselves, tears of laughter, tears of joy, and plenty of good ol' fashioned dancing.

Megan and Matt are Cakewalk's favourite type of couple: they know what they want, they love to travel, but most importantly they have fun wherever they go. We were flattered that Megan loved our work so much, she was willing to jet set all the way to Vancouver. With such dedication to be photographed by us, we had to go above and beyond for these awesome love birds. Touring some of Vancouver's most iconic sights (Granville Island, Canada Place, English Bay, Gastown, and Olympic Village), the Cakewalk team captured these beautiful shots over a two-day period.  It was enjoyable to be both tour guides and photographers for Megan and Matt.  We can't wait to photograph their wedding in August 2015!
